Making Sense Studio's Award-Winning Design Combines Steampunk Aesthetics with Modern Twist

The design features different characters for each taste, combining steampunk aesthetics with a modern twist. This approach was chosen to illustrate how modern technologies can transform old standards. The result is a design that is different, bright, and loud on the shelves, just like the product itself.

The packaging design was realized using a glass bottle, wax, and cork closure. The labels were printed in 5 Pantone flexography, with additional technologies such as 3D screen print and extra metallic prints used to highlight the details. The bottle has a capacity of 700 ml, and the label dimensions are 98 (w) x 88 (h) mm.

The design project started in September 2018 and was completed in February 2019. The design was done in Klaipeda and production in Kaunas. The project was not without its challenges. The designers had to combine completely different design styles and pay attention to details due to the screen print technology, which didn't allow for more detailed illustrations.

Despite these challenges, the design was a success, earning the Silver A' Packaging Design Award in 2019. This award is given to top-of-the-line, creative, and professionally remarkable designs that illustrate outstanding expertise and innovation. The Apes & Humans Packaging Design is indeed a remarkable design that introduces positive feelings, amazement, and wonder.
